The Bacon and Egg Pizza - Part One
Sunday January 2, 2011
Well, as written yesterday, I decided to try and make a bacon and egg pizza as my first supper of 2011. For me, 2011 is going to be a year of making new food that I haven't made before. After some searching google for Bacon and Egg Pizza, I basically threw together the creation from a few recipes I found. I started by cooking the dough and then adding toppings. Dumb move!
In order for the eggs to cook I had to turn the oven to broil which resulted in burnt pizza crust edges(which no on likes). And the eggs didn't cook... :( However, I'm not scared of eating eggs that aren't cooked so, I ate the thing anyway. The taste was really good! I would try to make another one of these pies but I'm not making it a priority!
Bacon and Egg Pizza(The recipe I followed)
1 crust (storebought kind or the kind made by the best wife in the world)
a spoonful or four of pizza sauce(or you could thinly slice tomato and lay on crust)
Bacon - as much as you would want on your pizza - 5 or 6 or 10 slices :)
Two Eggs - eggs is eggs
Shredded Cheese - about two handfuls or however much you want on your pizza
Thinly sliced green onions - about a handful
Spread sauce on crust. Add cut up cooked bacon. Then top with cheese. Gently crack and place eggs on top of pizza. Bake on broil for about 6 mins and hope that the crust doesn't burn ;)
Then eat when it reaches desired doneness!
Mmmm...bacon and eggs...and pizza!

My method is to announce a campaign promise an from it extract how WE are going to make New Brunswick better. In 2014, I ask for your support.

Can't beat the BLT
Wednesday March 17, 2010
Well, well, well....I remembered my password! With my wife away at a conference I don't feel like cooking a big meal. So, each night after work I try to come up with something that is either quick and easy or very, very tasty. Tonight - I did the BLT! Mmmm....the BLT. Unfortunately, spinach is cheaper than lettuce and I didn't have any bread. I toasted two everything bagels - you know the ones with the poppy seeds and sesame seeds and garlic like smell. It's all added flavour. I put mayo on both faces of the bagels...it acts like glue. Then the spinach and some mayo to stick to the tomato which was topped with two thick slices of bacon....bacony goodness...I closed the sandwich with some pepper and no salt. And then...I enjoyed..
